Office Organization

I think January makes everyone want to organize. Of course I'm a self proclaimed organizing junkie that needs rehab desperatley so January is just a time of the year where I feel normal. I've been wanting to share these pictures with everyone for a while because I was so happy with the outcome but I felt like I had to wait for some reason:) Now that every blog in blogland is talking about organizing I guess I can add mine too!

Details of our command center.

To create our command center I used pieces I already had around the house and then spray painted them all a glossy black so they all matched. I wanted something that would be functional for my work as well as home life since I work out of my home office 4 days a week. 

The memo board and chalkboard are used mostly for decorative purposes but the dry erase board , calendar and magnetic board are constantly being used for work and personal projects.

Nutcracker 2011

This past weekend we were so lucky to be treated by the GG's to go see the Nutcracker Ballet in Alameda. Aurora and Travis did great and really enjoyed the show. Aurora was fascinated by the ballerina's and Travis LOVED the Rat King and Nutcracker Soldier's big fight scene. Here are a few pictures we were able to snap before the show. Enjoy!

Our Christmas Tree is up and its glorious.... we just love love love it! Can't wait to share more pictures of our holiday cheer with you!

After a pretty difficult week I couldn't be cherishing Travis more if I tried. As he was enjoying some quiet time this morning I was able to snag a few shots of him. I've been trying for months to capture his amazing eyelashes because while his eyes are definitely a gateway to his soul those eyelashes are stunning! And honestly how could I resist a picture of his chubby little toes? I don't think I have taken one of his feet since he was a newborn. Sometimes I get caught up in all that is Travis I don't take the time to appreciate the little details that make him the kid he is. Hope you enjoy!
